Frome St Quintin is a village in the county of Dorset in southern England. It lies within the West Dorset administrative district of the county, about eleven miles northwest of the county town of Dorchester. It is sited on an outcrop of greensand[1] near the head of the Frome valley, amongst the chalk hills of the Dorset Downs. In the 2001 Census the village had a population of 157. There are naturally occurring springs in the area and the first habitation is likely to have been during the Roman era. The parish church dates from the 13th century.[2]
